Axelan WaterPaws Canine Aquatic Centre is dedicated to providing hydrotherapy rehabilitation recomended by vets all over canada. Also a safe, healthy, and fun exercise alternative for all dogs of any age, and a great way to teach your new puppy how to swim in a safe and controlled enviroment.

By appointment only to ensure induvidual time needed for each dog’s personal needs and also for maximum safety for your dog. Of Course we encourage you to stick around during apts to provide motivation and support for your four legged family member!
WaterPaws was originally designed over 7 years ago to assist dogs recovering from surgery, helping overweight dogs to lose weight and give arthritic dogs the chance to exercise with little damage to their joints —- our centre has broadened it’s scope over the years and now offers hydrotherapy for the following range of activities:
– Pre/Post surgical (Following veterinarian referral, your dogs needs will be evaluated in developing a recovery program)
– Veterans
– Overweight
– Arthritis/OCD sufferers
– Conditioning for working/competition dogs
– Disabled
– Dysfunctional (aggression, depression,seperation anxiety etc)
– Recreational
– Puppy learn to swim

The heated pool provides weightless exercise. They operate in Saskatoon all year round.

Also if your looking for a groomer for your pup…They also have a resident groomer at waterpaws too! ask for “becky” (perfect paws spa). A relaxed grooming atmosphere with other pups to play with and no crates!!

All swims by appointment only, they are opened for bookings from Tuesday through til Saturday. Located @ 3010 Arlington Ave in Saskatoon. (on the side of the eastview strip mall)

    I’d recommend WaterPaws forsure! Toni is a great instructor and really knows whats best for my dog. It’s a great way to burn off some of your dogs energy and helps him learn to swim!
