The Weir in Saskatoon
The Weir on Spadina Crescent in Saskatoon is a cool place to go check out. The Weir creates a powerful hole in the water where you would never want to be trapped. The sounds of The Weir mute the sounds of the city, relaxing you. The Pelicans are coming soon too! Every year they arrive some time in April and hang out there for the spring/summer. The Meewasin Valley Authority also has a cool contest every year on guessing the exact arrival of the birds, called the Meewasin Pelican Watch Contest. It runs from March 1-31, 2011 and click on the link below to enter.
