Before Christmas, I wanted to get a few board games as last minute gifts. I stopped in to Dragon’s Den Games at Louis the 8th Mall just off 8th Street in Saskatoon, and was I ever amazed. They had so many games and everything seemed well stocked. They had a ton of board games including The Settlers of Catan, a few versions of Risk and Monopoly, Game of Thrones, which I was looking for, Catch Phrase and a whole whack of other board games. I took a little tour of the store and was surprised to see how many different varieties of games they had including role playing games, collectible cards games, role playing books and miniatures. They even had a big room where they have game get togethers or tournaments with all the models and settings they use in the games. I do not know much about games but it was pretty neat to see. You can see the room in the video. When I met the owners I was equally impressed with not only their business acumen but with their obvious expertise and love of the industry. I will definitely be returning their to get more board games and maybe even catch a game one day.
