Turk was adopted about 3 years ago at the age of around 5. With us, he found his forever home. At the beginning of 2014, we found a lump on his leg that turned out to be an aggressive form of bone cancer. Turk fought hard to beat the cancer through amputating one of his legs, through many chemotherapy treatments and through dozens of visits to the University of Saskatchewan Veterinary Clinic. We had a steak night fundraiser at Sports on Tap, where we raised enough money to also donate money to sponsor a dog kennel for a year, at the Saskatoon SPCA. In this video we show you the trip where we went with Turk to donate the money to sponsor the kennel. This video also serves as a memorial to Turk who we miss very much.
